Project Background: Kim Lajoie has created much of the sound and music for Growing Brain, but he has always produced his own musical projects as well. The 'Hey Kitty Kitty' project sees the two streams come together, with Kim commissioning GB to create a video clip to accompany his music. In 'Hey Kitty Kitty', Kim teams up with Maxine Lajoie (vocals) to produce the sound of 'bubblegum pop meets Nine Inch Nails'. The resulting clip is a furious and colourful roller coaster ride around an oddball reality layer that has intersected somehow with a young woman's mobile phone. |
